Zodiac
Neil Martin, an archaeologist, hasn’t been out on the field in 15 years due to his divorce and his need for care for his son Colin. Colin, now twenty-five, convinces his father that Kathryn Keen, Poly Dynamics’ research company, offered him a job. This assignment continues the research of Professor Robert Bowles and examines an unexpected find at a Peru lead mine. Neil, Colin, and Kathryn traveled to the site to find a tablet containing astrological glyphs. This is believed to be part of a key for recent natural and destructive phenomena, such as a few meteor storms that almost claimed the lives of Colin and Dr. Bowles. The tablet also contained a radioactive rock. The stone and tablet, he believes, are just pieces of the puzzle that will reveal the cause of this destructive natural phenomenon. Twelve of these events will happen, each one related to a sign in the zodiac. Neil and Colin discover that Kathryn is not interested in any work other than the retrieval of the stone. Poly Dynamics and the Department of Defense (DOD) want the stone to be used only for research purposes about its potential to become an alternative energy source. Neil and Colin must work together to find the stone, and to put the pieces together to prevent the end of the world from ending. They also have to evade the DOD thugs while trying to avoid getting involved in any natural disasters that may occur. –Huggo
