Amen.

Kurt Gerstein, a sanitation engineer from his family, is appointed by the SS as the head of the Institute for Hygiene in World War II to clean the water for the German Army at the front. He is later invited to take part in ending the plagues at the concentration camps. Later, Zyklon B becomes his lethal gas. He witnesses the SS killing Jews and decides to decry the genocide before the Pope in order to save Jewish families from the evil. Riccardo Fontana, a Jesuit priest from the idealist Catholic Church and a member of an influential Italian family, gives his best to be the link between Gersteins and Vatican leaders. –Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
