The Damned (2013)
David Reynolds, a widower from America, is in Bogota Colombia to meet Lauren, his girlfriend, and Jill, his daughter. They are planning to fly back to America to wed after Marcela’s death. Jill, however, has forgotten her passport and is now traveling in a car along with Jill and Ramon to Gina’s home. Capitan Morales stops them on the way and warns them about the dangers of driving along the flooded road. Gina continues to drive. Lauren is injured when the car they are driving overturns, and Lauren suffers two broken ribs. They walk to find an abandoned hotel, which has been shut down since 1978. Felipe, the owner of the hotel refuses to allow them into his home but they decide to lodge their group. Jill hears Ramon and Jill yelling as they bring wood to the fireplace. The pair search for Ana Maria, who is found in a wooden container. Felipe, David and the wood return to Felipe. He discovers the couple have left the room. Felipe runs towards the box but David subdues him. Felipe tells David that the girl could kill Felipe’s family but he believes that the elderly man is a child abuser.
