Spud 2: The Madness Continues
Spud Milton is now in 1991 and his long journey to becoming a man is moving at a slow but steady pace. Spud Milton is approaching the age of 15 and has yet to see the ball drop. Spud must come to terms that he might be an anomaly of nature. The new year brings with it a mother who is determined to emigrate, a dad making a living selling homemade moonshine and an elderly grandmother named Wombat. It seems that the future holds little but embarrassment, more Milton madness, and extreme embarrassment. Spud will be returning to the boarding school, where he’s not the youngest nor the smallest. Spud’s dormitory mates (the Crazy Eight) have a unique new member, and his house now has the Normal Seven, a group of first-years. Spud is mistaken to think his second year will go smoothly. Spud is quickly plagued by women troubles, forced into misguided late night adventures and finances his dream of a famed career on stage. He was given the role of Dove of Peace in the disastrous Noah’s Ark house production. The worst part is that Sparerib, the boarding master and his prefects Earthworm and Death breath are plotting to expel Spud as well as the Crazy 8.
