Jon (Andrew Garfield) is a young theatre composer. He’s working at New York City’s diner while he writes what he hopes to be America’s next great musical. Jon feels the pressure just days before he has to perform his work in a show-or-die performance. He is being pressured by his girlfriend Susan who hopes for an artistic career beyond New York City. His friend Michael who wants financial security and his dreams fulfilled. All this while amidst an AIDS-ravaged artistic community. Jon finds himself at crossroads as the clock ticks. He must confront the question: How are we supposed to use the time that we have? –Netflix
