Amélie
Amelie tells the story of Amelie, a little girl whose childhood was ruined by her father’s misguided concerns about a heart defect. Amelie has very little contact with people because of these worries. Amelie is forced to live in her fantasyland and dream of beauty and love. Later, she becomes a young lady and works as a waitress in the middle of Paris. She discovers a treasure that belonged to her former apartment occupant and decides to give it back to him. She decides to give her life to those around her after seeing how he reacts and what a new perspective it brings. Her father, who is obsessive about his garden-gnome. He’s a failure writer. A hypochondriac. The man who follows his ex girlfriends. “Ghost” is a young suppressed soul. After spending her time on these adventures, she realizes that her life is being ruined and she has been neglecting her search for true love.
