(500) Days of Summer

Tom Hansen looks back at the year that Summer Finn was with him, even though it seems like she has left for good. It was love at first glance for Tom when she entered the greeting card business where he works, and she became his administrative assistant. Tom quickly realized that Summer was the right woman for him. Summer believed in no boyfriends or relationships, but in her belief that real life would always get in the way of love and marriage, Tom and Summer were more than friends. Tom was able to rely on his best friends McKenzie (and Paul) through the many trials and tribulations that Summer and Tom went through. But, his voice of reason is Rachel, Tom’s teenage sister. Tom, after all the above is done, is ultimately responsible for making the decision to listen or ignore. –Huggo
