Ben Campbell, a highly intelligent student at M.I.T., is young and very bright. Boston, Massachusetts. He strives for success. Ben is looking for a scholarship to Harvard School of Medicine to help him become a doctor. However, he discovers that $300,000.00 will not be affordable because he was born from poverty and has to work. One evening Ben is invited by Micky Rosa, his unconventional math professor, into a secretive group of five. Jill, Choi and Kianna are learning how to count cards at blackjack from Professor Rosa. Ben is intrigued by his desire to earn money and joins his friends for secret weekend trips to Las Vegas. There, Ben uses their code talk skills to win blackjack games at every casino. Ben wants enough money to pay Harvard tuition and to go back to school. Jill Taylor predicts that Ben will become corrupted in greed and arrogance by winning. This puts him and Professor Rosa on the radar. Cole Williams is a casino security guard who has a grudge against Rosa and threatens everything they have learnt and earned. –matt-282
